On November 23, 1977, the Manitoba Association of Non-Teaching Employees (MANTE) was certified as a bargaining unit for all employees of the St. James-Assiniboia School Division #2. The purpose and purpose of the association is to unite all non-executive workers, to work as bargaining partners for workers, to regulate fairly relations between workers and to maintain harmonious relations between employers and workers.
